PDF to EPUB
An EPUB ebook for Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play Books and any reader app. Chapters become a table of contents you can tap.
Read a PDF on Kindle like a real book.
On a Kindle, a PDF is a printed page shrunk to fit: tiny text and endless zooming. WandPDF rebuilds it as a Kindle book, so the text follows your font size.
PDF to Kindle, before and after
A typical converter carries the printed page onto your Kindle. WandPDF keeps the text and drops the page.
Formats
An EPUB ebook for Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play Books and any reader app. Chapters become a table of contents you can tap.
An AZW3 file for Kindle devices and apps. Change the font size and the text flows, instead of zooming a tiny page.
Clean text with headings, lists and tables for notes, Obsidian, a wiki or as input for ChatGPT, Claude and other LLMs.
NextWord is next: an editable document, not a copy of the page layout.
How it works
Any PDF with a text layer: a book, a paper, a report or a manual.
The native Kindle book format, with a table of contents and linked footnotes.
Plug the Kindle in over USB and drop the file into its documents folder.
Under the hood
Stop showing up in the middle of sentences.
Are joined back into one paragraph.
Split at the end of a line become whole words again.
Are read column by column, not straight across.
Stay linked to the place they belong to.
Keep their captions, and text beside a picture stays text.
Clean means no broken paragraphs, stray page numbers or lost text.
FAQ
A Kindle shows a PDF as fixed pages. On a 6-inch screen that means tiny text, and you zoom and pan on every page. A converted book reflows: you pick the font size and the text follows.
Connect the Kindle by USB and copy the file into its documents folder. Send to Kindle does not accept AZW3 files; for that route convert to EPUB instead, and Amazon turns it into a Kindle book for you.
Yes. Convert to EPUB and send it with Send to Kindle, and the book shows up in the Kindle app on every device signed in to your account.
Yes. Chapters become the book's table of contents, and footnote numbers link to their notes.
Not yet. WandPDF reads the text layer of a PDF. A scan is a photo of a page with no text inside, and needs OCR first.
English and other Latin-script languages, plus Chinese and Japanese. Arabic, Hebrew and other right-to-left scripts are still in progress.
It is kept only long enough to convert it and let you download the result, then deleted.
